Ifesinachi is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, passionate about creating innovative businesses.

She is a published author, screenwriter; and Founder of marketing technology company, Lexiton; Auditions.ng (a Jobs.com for the Nigerian entertainment industry); and Copyshop (a digital leadership brand positioning CEOs & Execs as thought leaders in the digital space).

Ifesinachi is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, who loves the challenge of creating innovative businesses.

Bringing over 8 years of experience in marketing communications, content marketing, tv content production and business development into her multiple roles, she is a fervent believer in the power of digital disruption and has committed to building businesses to unlock untapped potentials.

After graduating top of her class at the Pan Atlantic University where she bagged an MSc. Degree in Marketing Communications, Ifesinachi worked as an associate producer in a pan-African television talk show and has, since then, written major titles for the screen. She has also served as a juror on Africa’s biggest movie award, Africa Magic Viewer Choice Awards (AMVCA) and as a three-time juror on Nigeria’s scriptwriting competition, Homevida.

In 2016, Ifesinachi was listed as one of the 100 most influential Nigerian writers under 40 by the Nigerian Writers Awards, following the success of her published fiction book, The Domestication of Munachi.

In 2015, she joined one of Africa’s leading Pan-African proprietary investment holdings with investments in 20 countries, where she worked as a Communications Manager, supporting strategic marketing objectives of six companies within the group, as well as Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications for one of its investee companies. She also ghost-wrote several articles for the Chairman, who is a leading voice in entrepreneurship and investments in Africa, and championed the Group’s internal communication strategic goals. Prior to this, she spent a few years as a business development consultant in a technology company, Venture Garden Group, managing client expansion and financial growth of three of its key portfolio of brands.

She is currently the Founder of Lexiton Media Limited and its portfolio of brands including Auditions.ng and Copyshop. She and her brand, Auditions.ng recently got invited to join the She Leads Africa (SLA) Oxfam 2017 Accelerator Programme.

Her list of clients, whose brand profiles she has managed, includes several Nigerian A-list companies and actor, Mr. Ramsey Nouah, CEO of a top insurance company in Nigeria, and several others.

 

Screenwriting Profile

Ifesinachi began her screenwriting and tv production career with the Pan-African television talk show, Moments with Mo, where she handled screenwriting in addition to a role as an Associate Producer. Since then, she has worked with several producers locally and internationally, supporting them to translate their vision to workable, breathing scripts. A few project titles she has worked on include Africa Magic’s ‘Hush’, Ebonylife tv film, ‘Dise’s Secret’ and upcoming Norwegian-Nigerian feature, ‘Lost Café’.

She served as a jury member and script consultant on the Nigeria Film Integrity Awards for up-and-coming creative talents, Homevida, for two years running. She has also served as a juror on one of Africa’s most prestigious movie awards, Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA.

BBC and British Council trained, Ifesinachi graduated from the University of Benin with a B.A degree in Fine & Applied Arts. She also has an MSc. Degree in Marketing Communication from the Pan-Atlantic University, where she graduated top of her class. She is the author of ‘The Domestication of Munachi’, a novel published by one of Nigeria’s notable publishing houses with award-winning titles, Parresia Publishers. In 2016, Ifesinachi was listed as one of the 100 most influential Nigerian writers under 40 by the Nigerian Writers Awards.

Passionate about turbocharging the African creative economy, Ifesinachi founded the online job listing and casting site for entertainment people, Auditions.ng, which recently got invited to join the She Leads Africa (SLA) 2017 Oxfam Accelerator Programme. Auditions.ng makes it easy for job seekers in the entertainment industry to access jobs from wherever they are, by publishing casting notifications and sending hirers the profiles of talents that match required skills and attributes.
